Precise cuts in the twinkling of an eye

How important it is for the production process to have the right machines in house was demonstrated last week in the ARCUS assembly department.

The AUTOCUT 40 from Kabelmat has been in use there since the beginning of October. A motor-driven cutting machine that ensures precise and clean work.

The cable is pulled in directly from the drum frame, measured and cut with millimetre precision. Finally, the finished cable piece is wound into the pot winder. And all that in just a few seconds.

The AUTOCUT thus replaces the old coiling machine, which still had to be operated partly by hand.

The colleagues from the assembly department are now even more pleased not only to be able to work faster, but also to be able to further increase the quality in terms of precision.
